Let me break it down for you
This charming lodge is conveniently situated near the lakeshore and various eateries. The Beautiful Queen Room was spacious, clean, and perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. We used the excellent Wi-Fi to work remotely, but the limited breakfast choices could be improved. A solid stay!

Location
Booked 2 delux rooms with spa 1 month prior to date needed. Rooms not available. Rooms need updating, paint/ceiling peeling. fridge not working. Will not stay again and will not recommend to anyone.

It was what you expect at a 40$ a night motel. I assume the price is high for the location.
Shower head barely worked floor had 5+ coats of paint peeling away, beds were in horrible condition. It's what to expect I wasn't thinking it was a resort.

I loved how close this hotel was to the Tahoe State Recreation Area and the numerous restaurants just a few steps away, making my weekend easily filled with walks around the park and delicious meals.

The location was very convenient. It was within walking distance to restraunts, shopping, bike pathes, hiking and rafting. It was a quick drive to other attractions around the lake. For the price, this was a decent place to stay.
It was very noisy from the street traffic and parking lot behind the hotel. You had to ask for hair dryer and iron. They were not provided with the room. The water pressure was poor from the shower in the jaccuzzi tub. There was no pool and no air conditioning.

Good location as it is 5 minutes walk to the marina, Safeway and other shops. Best value among all hotels in area. Has microwave.
Towels are rough as sand paper ! No AC. Had to keep windows open to stay cool. Very noisy as it is on side of main road. Stains on carpet.

Clean room and comfy bed, but road noise was distracting at night.

this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. It was a very disappointing experience since our entire family stayed there for our sister and brother in law's 50th wedding anniversary. The rooms were not furniture adequately, they smelled and it was very noisy since all the windows faced the parking lot and there was no air conditioning. The toilet did not work properly, the shower leaked all night, drip, drip, drip and the lighting was not adequate. Luckily we were only there one night but some had to suffer two nights Barbara

I was close to where I needed to be and that was it
The beds, the carpet, the walls, the bathroom had no vanity in it so our stuff was on the table outside. There was no microwave as reported, no tub and no mattress cover.

Had a great group vacation with friends. The location is perfect for outdoor adventures like hiking and biking. The atmosphere here is super cute! Just remember, it's not very sound-proofed, and the ac could be better.
The road noise was pretty noticeable, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
